UPDATE!

Our 60k walk has been postponed due to government Covid-19 guidelines. So we have decided to walk up Carrauntoohil which is the highest mountain on the island of Ireland at 1,038.6 metres, this is not instead of our 60km walk, however it is big challenge and will be part of our solidarity walks’ for Cuba against the U.S. Blockade’

We will being streaming live from the mountain this Thursday the 1st of October, so please follow us on Face book, Twitter and Instagram #WalkingForCuba. Please also don’t forget to Donate all monies raised will go to Cuba for medical supplies.


UPDATE:

Due to the new government restrictions for Covid-19 in Dublin. We have been forced to postpone our 60 km Walking for Cuba against the U.S blockade along the Royal canal finishing in Dublin.

However as soon as the restrictions are lifted we will go ahead with the walk. In the meantime we will continue with our training in different locations.

We Cuba Support Group Ireland (CSGI) walk in solidarity with the Cuban people and against the U.S. blockade!

We take the 1847 Irish famine route along the Royal Canal taken by 1490 starving Irish, victims of another imperialism.

On the 30th of September will be walking 60 none-stop kilometres through night and day to represent 60 years of the relentless US blockade, we will arrive at the The Convention Centre Dublin Spencer Dock, North Wall Quay, Dublin 1 at 2pm on October the 1st.
